About Road to Offer
Overview
Road to Offer is a browser-based case interview preparation platform for candidates targeting McKinsey, BCG, Bain and other strategy firms. It packages 71 MBB-style practice cases, 550+ graded drills, six online-assessment simulators (McKinsey Solve's Sustainable Futures Lab, Sea Wolf and Red Rock; Bain SOVA; BCG CCA and Casey), behavioral/PEI rehearsal and a consultant resume grader into one subscription. A free tier covers a first full case with its scored debrief.
How it works
Voice Mode runs a case out loud against an AI interviewer that pushes back and releases exhibits on request; Guided Mode walks the same case step by step with hints for candidates who stall. Every finished case produces a debrief scored across seven dimensions — problem understanding, structure and MECE, quantitative accuracy, business judgment, exhibit interpretation, communication, and synthesis. Drills isolate a single skill at a time with instant marking, so weak areas feed directly back into the next rep.
Pricing
Unlimited access runs $49/month, $120 for the 90-day recruiting sprint, or $249/year. Assessment-only packs are sold as lifetime purchases: Solve ($79), Casey ($69), CCA ($49) and SOVA ($29), each with a partially free trial.
Pros
- Seventy-one MBB-style cases runnable either out loud with an AI interviewer or in a guided step-by-step mode.
- Debriefs grade seven discrete skills and quote the candidate's own answers alongside each suggested fix.
- A full first case with its scored debrief and graded drills are available without a credit card.
- Six firm-specific assessment simulators cover McKinsey Solve's three games, Bain SOVA, BCG CCA and Casey.
- Supporting modules include 550+ drills, behavioral and PEI practice, a resume grader, coach chat and an application tracker.
Cons
- Unlimited cases, drills and voice practice sit behind a paid plan, so heavy preparation is not free.
- Feedback quality depends on spoken or typed input through AI models rather than a human interviewer's judgment.
- The platform is independent and unaffiliated with McKinsey, BCG or Bain, so simulations approximate rather than replicate live assessments.
